Al-MAHARAT Technology-Astrata's Sirius-XP Server is a complete
Client/Server-based Fleet Management System (FMS), which has been
designed for managing large fleets in a high security control centre environment supporting multiple clients seamlessly from a single central server. The User Interface, which hosts numerous functions appropriate to Vehicle Tracking and Fleet Management is practical and simple to use and gives customers complete confidence in a comprehensive package.

System Overview
The Sirius XP suite contains numerous individual components that can all beloaded onto a single PC for small fleets or spread out over several server class computers for maximum optimization for larger fleets.

Maps

Each vehicle is displayed on the map in the form of an icon that indicates mode direction, ignition status and
customizable label.
Vehicle locations are displayed as
actual street and area names.
Users are able to measure the distance between two or more points using the measuring tool.
Monitor specific vehicle(s} on the map by keeping the selected vehicle(s} on the visible screen at all times.

Events

The system can identify a multitude of event conditions and alert the user appropriately.
The system has fully customizable severity levels based on the conditions the Fleet Operator sets.
Events can be sorted by date, severity, vehicle etc. using a drag and drop technique.
Warnings on events, can occur
through: SMS, Email, Popup or Sounds
Events generated of high severity need to be resolved with comments by the operator. This window can also be used to quickly zoom to the vehicle, activate the immobilizer, and view vehicle information.
Event can be configured to only monitor devices during certain days of the week or hours per day.
Some device events supported:
  - Excessive idling
- Speeding
- Digital input changes state
- Ignition changes
- External power
disconnect/connect
- Geofence exit violation
- Zone entry/exit
- Zone speed limit exceeded
- Device errors

Report

The system is able to generate reports for selected vehicles and time period.
Reports can be exported to PDF, Excel, RTF and HTML.
Current reports available:
  - Full Movement report
- Speed Profile
- Daily Speed Profile
- Stop Over report
- Trip Report
- Monthly Summary Report
- Driver Violation Report
- Daily Driver Violation Report
- Asset Violation Report
- Driver rating report
Users can create custom reports and import them to be part of the standard set of reports available.

Replay

The asset movement and event occurrences are replayed using
maps and speed graphs.
Users are able to select a record on screen and view the details of that particular event or move to next or previous record.
Users are able to filter out event data from positional data to increase the visibility of events.

Point of Interest (POI)

The user is able to mark edit or delete a point on the map with a POI marker and assign a name to that point
The name of the POI will be displayed as the vehicles position in all historical records should any vehicle stop near or within a configurable distance from any point of interest.

Commands to Devices

The vehicles latest position can be requested by polling the device and the device responding with the latest position and status.
It is able to change the mode of the device over the air.
The device odometer can be set to
that of the vehicle and updated on
a regular basis.
The state of the 2 digital outputs can be changed to switch external devices on or off.
The system is able to send a reset
command to the device restarting
the embedded operating system.
The system can send a command to the vehicle to override immobilizer for a given period or until further notice.

Security

Pre-defined user-groups with different access levels exist.
The user asset visibility can be set to only view vehicles allocated to user.
The device is able to generate an
event if the GPS antenna is
disconnected or short circuited.
User activity such as Assets created/ed ited/deleted, Zones created/ed ited/deleted,
Synchronization etc. are recorded in the audit trail.
Audit Trails, Asset Violations & GLP Violations can be exported to a text file (CSV format).

Driver & Trailer Management

The system allows for an unlimited number of drivers and trailers to be added to the system.
Additional information can be stored against each driver and trailer.
Drivers can be manually assigned to a vehicle or dynamically by tagging before being allowed to start vehicle.
One vehicle can have one or more than one driver or trailer assigned to vehicle.
All violations are logged against
driver name.
Drivers are ranked according to
the number of violations and cost
of violations.
Trailers are detected using RFID tags

Device configurability

All device settings are configurable
Over-the-air.
The position gathering frequency
in all modes can be adjusted.
Different reporting rates can be set for data via GPRS and SMS as well
as vehicles travelling on local or
roaming networks.
Event thresholds and device reactions. . Geofence radius and zone behaviors.

Zone

Zone entry and exit events can
be monitored by the system.
If the tracking device supports
zone monitoring, the system allows zones to be sent to the device and checked locally.
Zones can be grouped into sets
and assigned to specific vehicles
or groups of vehicles.
Supported shapes: Rectangle, Circular, Route, Polygon (free form).
Zones can be marked as client zones and should vehicles enter the zone for a preset duration the historical records and reports will indicate a client being visited.
The user can set the speed limit per zone
Various types of zones used:

Type Authorized
  - No-Go
- Safe
- No-transmit
- Live
- Semi-live
Description
Vehicle must stay inside this area else vehicle will enter alert mode. Vehicle will go into alert mode if it enters this area
Unit will go into safe mode when entering this zone.
Once a vehicle enters this zone the GSM modem will be switched off
The vehicle will report both entry and exit The vehicle will only report events while traveling through
this zone

Mobile Phone Commands

The back¬end will respond by sending an SMS to the originating mobile phone with the Assets last know position only after having verified that the originating mobile phone is authorized.

Application Protocol Interface(API)

The Sirius-Xp platform support 3rd party developers that wish to connect to the server and extract information to display on 3rd party applications.
